A silhouette drawn inward.

Introverted explores the idea of turning inward through protective, enveloping silhouettes. High necks that frame the face, voluminous furs, chunky hand knits and self-contained sets shape the collection’s closed and controlled character. AW’18 interprets the weight of winter through privacy, layering and silence.

Introverted takes shape around a woman who withdraws from the outside world to build a space of her own. Hush covers the face and neck, Cocoon surrounds the body with protective volume, and Retreat creates a more inward-looking layer with chunky knits. Inner Room and Alcove represent looks complete within their own boundaries, while Solitude is the collection’s quietest point. Threshold is the only passage between this closed world and the outside.

AW’18 treats dressing not only as a way of being seen, but as a layer that creates a space of one’s own when needed.
