The warmth that lingers before it fades.

Ember is a winter collection that interprets the different stages of fire through color, surface and embellishment. Gold bugle beads and clusters of red beads form the collection’s signature detail, while burgundy, navy, cream, red and black represent the different states of fire. Hand knits, tassels, sequins, mohair and bouclé surfaces give AW’19 a layered and tactile character.

Ember follows the transformation fire goes through, from the first spark to the ash left behind. Spark sets the first movement in motion, while Tinder and Kindling build the textures that feed the fire through hand knits and tassels.

Ember represents the deep burgundy of glowing coals, Glint the reflection of light on a surface, Dusk the moment the day begins to darken, and Ash the calmer ground after the fire. Hearth carries warmth to the body through mohair and bouclé outerwear, Flare the energy that rises again in intense red, and Smoke the black trace at the end of the process. AW’19 approaches fire not only as a colour idea, but as a transformation that unfolds through changing intensity, heat and texture.
