Same pattern, unequal world.

Not Equal is a collection that reinterprets the codes of classic menswear tailoring through the female silhouette. Checked suiting fabrics, oversized blazers, strong shoulders and structured forms sit alongside the idea of gender inequality. AW’20 repositions the traditional power symbols of the business world on the female body.

Not Equal starts from the idea that clothing is not only aesthetic, but also a language of power and representation. As fabrics, cuts and corporate references associated with the men’s suit are carried into the women’s wardrobe, the collection makes visible the inequality behind that transfer.

Pieces such as Boardroom, which directly evoke corporate language, work alongside names that refer to measurement, proportion and imbalance. Through tailoring, AW’20 addresses the idea that sharing the same space does not always mean having the same conditions.
