Silhouettes shaped by ties.

Twine turns the idea of tying into the collection’s structural detail. Corset lacing running along the waist, sides and hems meets halter shapes that tie at the neck, while green and ecru linens, black pieces and chiffon surfaces bring movement to summer silhouettes. SS’17 is built on the balance between lines that wrap the body and lines that set it free.

Twine stems from the idea that the cord holding a garment together can also redefine its silhouette. Corset lacing recurs throughout the collection, creating lines, openings and controlled tension across the body, while halter cuts carry this language to the shoulders and neckline.

Verdant’s green linens set a natural, vivid ground, Chalk’s ecru tones offer a simpler counterpoint, Ash sharpens the structure in black, and Veil adds a more fluid layer with the lightness of chiffon. Twine interprets the relationship between tying and letting go through the lightness of summer.
